Cheshire-based trio redev are an eclectic art-rock project defined by their stylistic fusion of progressive, indie, and alternative rock with electronica and experimental pop.

Forming in 2024 as a studio project led by vocalist and award-winning composer James Corley, redev released the debut single “Pariah Superstar”, redolent of Muse, Everything Everything, and Enter Shikari. In 2026 redev established itself as a three-piece, with bassist Blair Ratu finding James through a local classified ad, and guitarist Olek Nixon reconnecting with James after a lengthy stint of touring.

From Olek’s avant-garde leanings to Blair’s funk-rock rhythms, their expertise of live performance and their multi-instrumental skills interlock with James’ skills as a songwriter and synth-whiz, laying the groundwork for an exciting new chapter for redev - one that will focus on bringing humanity, energy, and rawness to electronic rock through live shows and deliberately developed studio work.
